Cokes biographer,Drew, shows an imperfect grasp of detailin dealing with this period; and hisstatements have been repeated by Southeyand later writers. Immediately after the Christmas Con-ference, when Coke was in Philadelphia,he had the minutes of the Conferenceprinted at his own expense. It is prob-able that he sent a copy forthwith toWesley. At any rate, we must supposethat he carried with himto England several copiesof the pamphlet, and thata copy was in Wesleyshands not later than
