In 1845 Mr. Watson pur-chased his parners interests and continued alone, ad-ding to the business the manufacture of wire business constantly grew and he had to increasehis facilities from time to time. The business wasincorporated in i8qo with Mr. Watson as president,a position he continued to fill imtil his death. Hisson, Edwin L. Watson, was associated with himin the business as secretary and treasurer of thecompanv. and after his death he became the oresi-dent. The name of the corporation is the L. Manufacturing Co.
