Treatment.—The operation for the removal of naso-orbital tumor maybe done as follows. An incision should be made from the nasal processof the superior maxilla directly down along the side and round the alaof the nose, so as to open the nasal cavity. The soft parts on the orbi-tal side of this cut are then dissected down into the orbit. One blade ofa cutting piece being passed into the nose, the nasal bone is cut throughdirectly- upwards along its outer border. An oblique cut upwards shouldthen be made across the upper and inner part of the superior maxilladeepl} into the orbit, the cut bones widely separated, and the noseturned completely over to the sound side of the face.
