Stoke Poges, UK. 1st August, 2023. Part of the road surface on the B416, Stoke Road in Stoke Poges, Buckinghamshire has failed again. A number of the drains on the road are also filled with mud. Vast numbers of HGVs are using the road for construction work on the new South Bucks Country Park that is being developed next to the A416 just outside Slough on the site of the old Lanes Golf Academy. The 59 acre country park will open to the public in 2024. Many of the roads in Buckinghamshire remain in a very poor state of repair with patches of bitumen being used to fill potholes that fail again during rainy weather.
