Adults were not obtained Larva. The full grown larva is about 3 mm long, yellowish red and rather stout. Head moderately prominent, enlarged at the base, rounded laterally and tapering rapidly to a broadly rounded apex. Mouth parts very small and indis- tinct. Chitinous fork or " breast- bone " long, slender, basal portion indistinct, anterior part broadly rounded with two large, lateral, blunt teeth and a smaller median one.
