Ned Sharpless at FDA's International Mail Facilities - 0613 Acting FDA Commissioner Ned Sharpless visited two of FDA’s International Mail Facilities to see the work being done by its staff to inspect for counterfeit, illegal and/or potentially dangerous FDA-regulated products on Oct. 8, 2019. Each day, FDA’s IMFs receive thousands of packages from more than 180 countries. Many of these packages contain illegal, unapproved, counterfeit and/or potentially dangerous FDA-regulated articles.
