The Surkuss Solly Board was around robin organization, designed to shiftthe responsibility for ruined reputations, besmirched characters, and politicaldisclosures. Harold Anderson headed the Board with Russell Barker, Roland Aby,William Grimm, and Margaret Duthie acting as Associate Editors, assisted by astaff of scandal mongers devoid of any semblance of conscience. Hector Ostinand Arthur Jenness extorted the necessary cash to publish the sheet. Two Ilundrfd Ninety-seven Liberal Arts Surkuss Solly. Ray Kautz, Surkuss Solly, claims Californiaas his home, but he has been away about longenough to admit that it does rain west of theRockies—once in a while. He even goes so faras to say that he thinks the eastern girls areevery bit as nice as any of them back from being a Sigma Nu, Ray has distin-guished himself as a leader of several campusactivities. He has been president of Alpha KappaPsi, a commerce fraternity; has been active in work; and served as manager of the popularUniversity Informals during the past he was selected as Surkuss Solly, the cam-pus approved most heartily. When the Circuspassed into history, the campus was loud in itspraise of Ray, and declared his Circus a greatsuccess. He has filled a very responsible jobmost commendably. Ray Surkus Sally Dorothy Knight, the charming Surkuss Sallyof this years circus, claims Rockford, Illinois asthe city of her nativity, and Dot is one of thebrightest spots among the several campus
