Is of medium size, wonderfully hard and solid,^and most attractive for market, both in form and appearance. It is extremely early in ripening, and never makes any stiff-necks, or scul- lions. Every seed seems to produce a good size onion, and the bulbs begin to form very quickly. Planted with the Red Wethersfield, it has proved to be nearly four weeks earlier, and ripens more uniformly. It has good table qualities, and will keep in good condi- tion longer than any other onion known.
