Prayin at the kotel
, הכותל המערבי הכותל A jewish man is praying at the western wall in Jerusalem. The wall also known as the wailing wall or the “Kotel” is the most sacred and holy place for Jews. This is the last remaining wall from the old temple that was destroyed over 2000 years ago. Hand written or typed prayers and requests to god are inserted between the cracks of the stones as requests for good health, fortune, help for others and any prayer one may have.
