To accomplish the object nothing more was necessarythan to remove a protruding nail from a sash by pressing againstit another nail, and then to open a window, through which aboy found ready ingress. The bar that held one of the doorsbeing removed, the audience found shelter from the rain, andenjoyed the opportunity they had sought for the promotion ofthe cause of Christian Reform. Whatever of responsibility is involved in the removal ofthe nail, we cheer
