MEDITERRANEAN SEA (November 10, 2014) – Fireman George Karuru, from Kenya, conducts a visual inspection of the lower half of a main reduction gear aboard the USS Cole (DDG 67). Cole is an Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer, homeported in Norfolk, Va., conducting naval operations in the 6th Fleet area of operations in support of national security interests in Europe.
