A better plan to insure early spring flowering is, to plant in cold frames in the fall. The flowers are very large, sometimes measuring one and one-third inches across, very double petals, well set and arranged like a double Camelia flower, pure white, border of petals embroidered with lilac. Fine, double, white. Queen of Violets. Large, double, white, shaded blue. Queen Victoria. The largest single-flowering sort, deep blue, very fragrant and free; a good forcing variety. ScHCENBRUN.
