Värnamo station. Halmstad-Nässjö Railway, HNJ. The first station house was built in 1877 and demolished in 1995 because it was in the way of a planned road crossing. The first locomotive was built in 1875 but was demolished in 1894 and a new one was built elsewhere at the yard. A new station house was built in 1899 by Skånes-Måland's railway, SSJ, but the building was never used as a railway station when SSJ and HNJ agreed to use HNJ station.
