McCARTHYSchool Physician Born in Ireland April 18. 1872. Hecame to Lawrence in 1876, fromBoston. He attended the parochialand public schools, being graduatedfrom Lawrence High School in leaving school he learned tledrug business, at which he spentseveral years. He was graduated fromthe New York Lhiiversity and Belle-vue Hospital Medical College in 1900, 1901 and 1902 he served onthe School Board. He was appoint-ed School Physician in 1916. is not married.
