Theembroidery for the top of the Cushion is worked on cream cloth, and is shown inworking size in Detail No. 260. To work the embroidery : Trace it on the cloth,and line with Toile ciree. Buttonhole round the centre star and each scallopwith blue silk, and work plain Bars with the same silk, as shown, cutting thefoundation cloth from beneath them. For the flowers, work in Railway Stitch,Coral, and French Knots, and with two shades of blue
