Lawson or Comet D—The largest early pear and exceedingly lmndsome, though not of high quality; a good shipper and very profitable. August, ust. Osband's Sum- mer, D — Medium size, yellow with red cheek; mild and pleasant; of fine flavor and produc- tive. August.
