The 28th Medical Group provided approximately 1,250 beneficiaries with the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine using the point of distribution (POD) concept at Ellsworth Air Force Base, , March 19, 2021. The POD concept allows immunization specialists to deliver the vaccine to a large population within a limited amount of time.
