The contract ofMessrs. Ferrel & Burt makes the point notmore than five and a half miles from Logans-port, but we hear that there is some difficultyin uniting with the southern road, unless thepoint is made at Deer Creek. The Mariondirectors may be obliged to have their owntrack from Cuba, which will cost them prob-ably no more than to use part of the NewCastle bank from Deer Creek.—LogansportJournal.
