Kom Ombo Nile Valley Egypt

Kom Ombo is an agricultural town on the Nile famous for its temple. It was a Greek settlement, but its importance is due to the erection of the temple in the 2nd century BC. It is a double temple, each half dedicated to a different god. The whole temple was built by the Ptolemys, Ptolemy VII (here depicted in hieroglyphics making offerings) having built the famous outer Hypostyle Hall.
