The original lighting arrangement used in the opencars consisted of three five-light clusters on the insideof the car with an additional circuit of five lights dis-tributed on the platform and in the headlights, so thata total of twenty lamps were burning at one time. Inthe reconstructed lighting arrangement but half thisnumber are burning at one time. A single row of sixlights is installed down the center of the car and twoadditional lights are located on each platform.
