'The Big Dance' a sculpture by Ray Lonsdale in the town of Gretna Green a popular tourist attraction in the Scottish borders.


Made of weathering steel and standing 13 feet tall, 'The Big Dance' is a sculpture by artist Ray Lonsdale. It was erected in 2010 in the courtyard of the Old Blacksmith's shop now a tourist attraction in Gretna Green, well-known as the scene of thousands of 'runaway' weddings.
