At 07:30 this morning a group calling themselves 'Shut Down the City entered London's Liverpool Street Station and draped a a banner over the higher walkway. At the same time a group of protesters on the station concourse began banging drums. The protesters then moved out of the station and walked around the City, passing the Bank of England. The protesters then walked across Southwark Bridge to join the 'Sparks' protest. Attempts to block the bridge failed as the Met Police kept the protesters off the road.
