A portrait of Prince John of Britain --- John Charles Francis "Johnnie" (1905 – 1919) was the 5th son and youngest of the six children of King George V ( formerly Prince of Wales ) and Queen Mary. He was a sickly child and was said to have epilepsy learning difficulties and autism. Allegedly hidden away from the public eye at Sandringham House, he was cared for by his governess, Charlotte Jane "Lala" Bill, and was said to play with local children . Prince John died at Sandringham in 1919 supposedly following a severe fit, and was buried at nearby St Mary Magdalene Church
