Kings Canyon in Watarrka National Park is a popular tourist destination south west of Alice sandstone cliffs lining the deep canyon are over 100m high and the Rim Walk follows the cliff tops in a 6km circuit. The walk is best done in the early morning and can be closed due to high temperatures.
