PEARL HARBOR (Jan. 12, 2018) Pacific Fleet Master Chief Susan Whitman places a bronze combination cover into a shadow box, presented to her during her Change of Office and Retirement Ceremony aboard the USS Battleship Missouri Memorial at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam. Whitman retires as the 17th Fleet Master Chief of the Pacific Fleet after more than 32 years of Naval Service. Whitman turns over the position as the fleet's senior enlisted leader to Fleet Master Chief James Honea.
