The Symphonic Hall seen from the stage. Aarhus Concert Hall, Aarhus, Denmark. Architect: C F Moller Architects, 2007.

Aarhus Concert Hall was built in two phases: the first 16000 sq m, designed by Kjær & Richter, which opened in 1982; and the second 17000 sq m, designed by C F Moller, which opened in 2007. The two parts of the building share common design elements: yellow brickwork, distinctive floor tiling, and interior pillars. The Concert Hall houses a variety of halls, including the 1,600-seat Great Hall and a 1,170-seat ash-clad Symphonic Hall boasting excellent acoustics.
