WASHINGTON (Feb. 12, 2021) — Vice Adm. Steven D. Poulin, Coast Guard Atlantic Area commander, is greeted by Senior Chief Kraig McClellan, officer-in-charge of USCGC Hawk (WPB 87355), ahead of a distinguished visitors visit on the Potomac River in Washington Feb. 12, 2021. The visit provided an opportunity for the crew to ask questions with one of the service’s senior flag officers and discuss Coast Guard sea-service operations. Hawk is an 87-foot Marine Protector-Class patrol boat home-ported in Virginia Beach, Virginia, with a crew of 12.
