At first hesold them at the high price ofsix hundred crowns, the sumusually obtained by the afterward lowered hisprice to sixty crowns, whichcreated universal astonish-ment; but when he producedthem according to the demand,and even reduced the price tothirty, all Paris became agita-ted.
