Strong During the course of the Templeton Crocker Expedition to the Gulf of CaHfornia in 1936 under the auspices of the New York Zoological Society with Dr. William Beebe' in charge, a large col- lection of mollusks was assembled. Reports upon the mollusks collected on this expedition and on those collected on the Zaca Expedition the following year have been prepared by the authors for publication in the order of their systematic position. Delay in publication has been unavoidable due chiefly to conditions result- ing from the war. Several requests for information regarding a new species of Trophon in the collection have made it advisable to describe the species and make it available for reference. It is here named Trophon (Boreotrophon) Please note that these images are extracted from scanned page images that may have been digitally enhanced for readability - coloration and appearance of these illustrations may not perfectly resemble the original Southern California Academy of Sciences.
