Soc. xxi. p. 84 (1894) Proboscis fully developed; palpi obliquely nptiirned, fringed with long hair in front; irons with slightly roughened prominence with corneous plate below it; eyes large, rounded; antennas simple in both sexes ; head and thorax clothed with hair and hair-like scales, the tegulse produced behind into- a hood, the pro- and metathorax with slight crests ; fore tibiaj with curved claw on inner side ; abdomen with dorsal crests on basal segments. Fore wing with the termen obliquety curved, the inner margin lobed near base;. veins 3 and 5 from near angle of cell ; 6 from upper angle ; 9 from 10 anasto- mosing with 8 to form the areole ; 11 from cell. Hind wing with veins 3, 4 from angle of cell; 5 obsolescent from below middle of discocellulars ; 6, T from upper angle or stalked ; 8 anastomosing with the cell near base only. A. Fore wing with the orbicular and reniform distinctly defined. a. Fore wing with the ground-cohiur grey-white antipoda. h. Fore wing with the ground-colour blue-grey propinqua. B.
