Mr. Brumback is a forcible speaker and ranksamong the leading lawyers of the Northwest. Heis a member of the Board of Directors of numer-ous large corporations, is a Trustee of the ToledoPublic Library, a I^Lison, a member of the SigmaChi Fraternity, of the Toledo Club, Country Cluband other societies. Mr. Brumback was married toJennie K. Carey of Indianapolis, September 26, 1881,and has two children: Blanche Carey and LydiaEllen ORVILLE S. Perlena (Purmort) ISrumback. On the paternalside his ancestors were Germans who emigrated toAmerica early in 1700 first settling in Pennsylvaniaand afterward locating in the Shenandoah Valley,Virginia. Early in the present century his great-grandfather moved from Virginia to Ohio. On hismothers side he is of New England stock, beingconnected, among others, with the Walworth ^ndNettleton families.
