Mr. Bur-leson aimounced another hymn, and by the time it was fin-ished his mother drove up, stopped at a side window, in fullview of her preacher son, and remained in the carriage whilehe told the story of the cross. As he proceeded, tears of joytrickled down this saintly mothers cheek, which visiblyaffected the son, and this, in turn, the congregation, until allwere in tears.
