The annual flower parade involving twenty large floats plus 30 smaller vehicles, decorated in a riot of colour using freshly cut tulips and other spring flowers. This event takes place on a weekend in mid-April setting off from Noordwijk early morning and reaching Haarlem late evening. It passes Kekenhof about where thousands of spectators were lining the route. It takes months of preparation in design and just two days for hundreds of volunteers to decorate the floats with millions of fresh flowers.
