The US Team which is comprised of service members from the Army, Air Force, Navy, Marine Corps, and SOCOM will participate in three days of training prior to the competition. The Invictus Games, an initiative of The Royal Foundation of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry, in partnership with the Ministry of Defence, is an international team competition consisting of more than 400 wounded, ill, or injured service members from 14 different countries. Each team will compete in 10 sports – Athletics, Archery, Wheelchair Basketball, Cycling, Indoor Rowing, Powerlifting, Wheelchair Rugby, Swimming, and Sitting Volleyball.
