The launch pad and service tower for NASA's Space Launch System (SLS) rocket under construction at Kennedy Space Center, Florida. The mobile launch platform supports the rocket while the tower carries umbilical connections and allows access at different heights. The entire structure is transported to the launch pad by a Crawler transporter which dates from the Apollo lunar programme.
