The "SUPERIOR" Leads, BECAUSE: It has cushioned rims, and will, therefore, stand what no other roller will, the bumps and knocks of hard usage on rough and stony land. It is lightest of draught and turns with the utmost ease. A shaft or axle of polished ma- chinery steel, babbitted and self-oiling (patented) bearings, balanced drums revolving indepen- dently on the shaft (when turning corners only) explain why the users of the "Superior" do not tire their horses and break their roller poles. It is practically indestructible. A hardened steel rim rolled and close riveted at the edges; heavy hard wood felloes forced into place by iron wedge blocks; steel spokes, with double adjusted lock nuts, explain this. It is fair to add. how- - ever, that flexible journal boxes, flexible hangers, and the peculiar (patented) construction, all add to the durability. It is thoroughly well made and attractive in appearance.
