Rectification!, 1880. Artist: John Tenniel

Rectification!, 1880. Greece admires herself in the mirror as Britannia holds out her recently expanded hem. In mid June 1880, a conference had been held in Berlin in order to consider the issue of the existing Greek boundaries. After two weeks' discussion, it was agreed that there should be a new frontier between Greece and Turkey, which would result in an expansion of Greek territory. From Punch, or the London Charivari, July 10, 1880.
