It is well suited for the private garden and quite productive. The flavor and quality are excellent, and its dwarf habit of growth makes it a desirable sort; height, 1 foot. Vines grow to a height of about 20 inches and are very robust, bearing an abundant crop of pods which measure about 2J inches in length, and are well filled with peas of excellent flavor. It is not only valuable for early use but is especially adapted for planting in August when most plantings of other varieties result in failure.
