Blepharoplasty.—With respect to cicatri-cial ectropion, the least serious cases are those in which not much skin hasbeen lost and the contraction of the lid is caused simply by a few cicatricialbands, especially if those draw the lid in against the bone and attach it tothe latter—a condition which so frequently remains after caries of the mar-gin of the orbit.
