Anticosti and New Brunswick to Maine, New York,Michigan and Minnesota. Summer. The similar A. globosa Nutt., of the Rocky Moun-tains, with larger flowers, occurs in tlie Black Hills ofSouth Dakota and Manitoba, and is reported from Ne-braska.
