Total Galena.). Runs 1 to 5 are on natural feed. 6 to 11 screened feed. 12 to 17 cla-ssified feed. An examination of these shows that when the com-bined savinjr of the heads and middles is takcMi into consideration, the natural feed runs are at least not completely outclasstd byscreened and classified feeds. It is true that in the case of the copper-quartz tei^ts therecover} in the natural feed runs on the finer sizes is considerablybelow the recovery made on screened and classified fwds; but in thecase of the galena-quartz tests the average recovery in the naturalruns is very appreciably higher than thr ncovery ol)tjiiniMl inthe classified runs, though a little lower than that obtained in tliescreened feed runs. In either vnsi the total ricovery made withscreened feed is j)laiidy higher than that obtained on classi-fied feed. In fact when we look at the losses in the tailings, wefind that in the Cop|xr-(2uartz Tests absolut«ly no minend isfound in the screened feed runs, a fa
