Proboscis fully developed; palpi upturned, the 2ad joint reaching to middle of frons and slenderly scaled, the 3rd moderate; frons smooth; eyes large, round ; antennje of male with long cilia ; thorax clothed almost entirely with scales and without crests; tibia; moderately fringed with hair, the mid and hind tibite with slight tufts of hair at extremity; abdomen with slight crest at base only. Fore wing with the apex somewhat produced, the termen evenly curved ; the inner margin with lobe at middle and slight scale-tooth at tornus; vein 3 from before ar/gl© of call; 4, 5 from angle ; 6 from upper angle; 7, 8, 9 stalised ; 10, 11 from cell. Hind wing with veins 3, 4 shortly stalked ; 5 fully developed from angle of cell; 6, 7 from ujjper angle; 8 anastomosing with the cell to near middle. 7091. Paraxestis rufescens.
