The Hassan II Mosque is a mosque located in the coast of the city of Casablanca, Morocco, and is the largest mosque in the m height minaret


It was built in 1987 , and its construction was completed on the night of the Prophet’s birthday on August 30, 1993, during the reign of King Hassan II of Morocco. The buildings attached to the mosque form an integrated cultural complex, built partly on the sea with an area of 9 hectares (acres) and includes a prayer hall, ablution hall, toilet, Qur'anic school, library and museum. In addition to paneling with “zellij” or mosaic colored porcelain mosaics on the columns, walls, ribs and minarets of the minaret and engraving on cedar wood, which glues the mosque’s courtyard and stucco carved gypsum works in the corners and cornices
