King Death, a momento mori, which tops the entrance to St Olave's Church in the city of London, England. Three stone skulls on the gate to the cemetry of an historic city church. Samuel Pepys is buried there, as was Mary Ramsay, the woman who first brought the plague to London. The church was a favourite of Charles Dickens, who called it St Ghastly Grim in his writings.
