The pattern of each of the strips sewn together consists of an imperial crown-like flower between acanthus leaves and flanked on the right by a strip-width-filling, lying c-volute. The c-volute is formed by a narrow acanthus leaf and comprises a loop-shaped flower with moon-shaped petals. This c-volute repeats itself in mirrored form and the pattern is then broken. The original pattern is symmetrical and repeats itself. The motifs are made with festival stitches and provided with light relief contours. The motifs are connected to each other by a sparingly prototyped barbed soil. The upper side of both strips are finished straight, with the straight upper side of the lower strip sewn to the faint scallop edge of the upper strip.
