April 11. 1824, son ofJacob and Susanna (Oldfathcr) Glessner, na-tives of the same State. In 1864 Jeremiah. JEREMIAH GLESSNER. Glessner came to Lee County, 111., settling nearEldena. where he now owns a 200-acre April 20, 1845, he married Amy A. to them ten children wore born, five ofwhom are now living. Mrs. Glessner diedFeb. 25, 1868, and on Jan. 4, 1870, Mr. Gless-ner married his second wife, Ellen C. Elsrode,and of this union there were five children,three of whom are deceased. While a residentof Pennsylvania, Mr. Glessner held the officecf Justice of the Peace for twelve years, andserved his fellow-citizens of Lee in asimilar capacity for five years. In religiousconvictions he is a Methodist and is a mem-ber of the church at Dixon. AID BRADSHAW. hardware and implementdealer, Compton, III., was born in WinnebagoCounty, 111., Sept, 15, son of George andas Deputy Sheriff of Lee County for twoyears. Fraternally he is a member of theMasonic Order and Eastern Star. Mrs. Brad- shav. is a Presbyterian in religious belief, butattends the Methodist Episcopal churc
