Filsham Reed Beds in early light. Often the home of the bittern, this large area of swampy reeds near Bexhill-on-Sea has dragonflies.
Filsham Reed Beds are the largest area of reeds in Sussex. They are a site of special scientific interest with many types of dragonflies and damselflies. The bittern occasionally visits the area. There are yellowhammers and long-tailed tits, egrets, herons and many insects.
