INDIAN OCEAN (Nov. 2, 2017) Indian Navy Ship INS Kadmatt (P29) approaches the fleet replenishment oiler USNS John Ericsson (T-AO 194) prior to conducting a replenishment-at-sea. The evolution was part of a demonstration of the new logistics exchange memorandum of agreement (LEMOA) between the and India. The LEMOA officially enables both countries to use the others logistical resources, supplies, and services on a reimbursable basis, and provides a framework to govern them.
