Sycamore (Acer pseudoplatanus) leaves and bud blossom. The sycamore tree is native to central Europe and western Asia. It can grow to 35 metres and live for 400 years. It bears small, green-yellow flowers that hang in spikes or 'racemes'. Photographed in April in Dorset, UK.
