Philippines, a cart for the festival. Near Mangaretem a cart to symbolise everything that is meant by the Green Revolution heads it's way along the highway to take part in the town's carnival. The Filipino's love festivals and there are plenty of opportunities to have them. Every saint's day is a festival so there is an excuse to have one every time the name of the saint is celebrated. this farmer is proud of the green revolution and likes to show now that he can get three crops (providing the typhoons allow) a year. Even the bullock is proud to show off the fruits of the g reen revolution.
